First off, this is a very great FM transmitter. I use this at work in a big box truck that bounces around endlessly. This is by far better than most transmitters.

Having said that, the big complaint that I have is that it seems to lose connection with the cord that plugs into the Ipod (have an Ipod touch 3rd gen). It happens just often enough to be a nuisance, but at very random times. It lasts for just 10-15 seconds, while the volume control slider pops back up on the Ipod touch and pauses whatever is playing. After a little while the volume slider dissappears and you can hit the play button to resume normal play out of your vehichles speakers.

Other than this complaint, everything else works very well with this Transmitter. The "goose-neck" is very sturdy, but flexible. Had minor issues with it reaching into a deeply made power adapter in a personal vehichle. The tuner range is great and keeps a very solid hold on the station you set it to.

Sound quality is very good, excellent for an FM Transmitter, overall I enjoy this transmitter even with the slight aggrivation of waiting for it to play through the speakers after losing connection for a second. -- Good, but loses connection once in awhile

I just want to say that it is a very good price, and it works perfect.
The sound comes out very clear and with no interference. It gives you many fm stations to work with and the quality is great.

There is no rotation joint on the arm, so if you are not able to use it vertically, you basically have to manipulate your ipod rotated on the side... Otherwise good overall quality. -- Good sound quality, not super handy to set up.

Pros:

- Sturdy gooseneck
- Easy to adjust position
- Do not notice much, if any, loss of audio quality
- Reliable

Cons:

- Hard to see the station display on the unit, which isn't a big deal most of the time. But when you're in an area where you need to find a different FM station, then a little problematic.
- The plug that goes into the iPhone can be a little tough to remove...would be nice if there were a button on top or sides that could be pushed/squeezed to serve as a release mechanism.
- Hands-free "feature" is an absolute joke and simply does not work. When a call comes in I just use the iPhone's hands-free speaker.


OVERALL

A good value for the money, but they need to stop advertising this as a "hands-free" device.
