This product shipped on-time, but in an plastic envelop. Yes, don't get surprised. It shipped in original packing and in an envelop. The envelop does not have any protection, not even bubbled wrapped one. Of course it is water proof. I was surprised to see that it is working fine :).

I went for a 400 miles trip the very next day after receiving this and got a chance to try it. There is no setup required as such. sounds good! right? Of course that is true. Just plug this into the iphone and start the music. Tune the radio to the required frequency. That's it you are all set.

It has an iphone charger too. I did not see any issue with charging. It worked just fine.

There are 2 thing which I noticed in this product that should be improved:

1. The sound quality dramatically reduced when you are not connected to the power out let.
2. The gadget will switch off immediately the after playing the album. If you are on a road in the night suddenly you will hear disturbances and loud voice, dont worry that is just your car radio on the FM frequency you tuned in your Transmitter. That is switched off, so your radio is picking up the on-air signals.

These thing requires improvement immediately. My wife was complaining whole time in the drive about the switching off issue, as she was my DJ:).

I have not tried with the battery, I don't even know there is one, I did not see any note or booklet talks about battery inside it. I was surprised that I was asked to review this aspect. -- No Setup required! Switchs off if idel for more than 10 sec.

This is one of those products where "you get what you pay for" rings true. It works fine, but it feels flimsy and very light. Sometimes I really have to wiggle it in for it to fit into my iPod Touch (1st gen). It charges, though, and it's better than the radio, so I can't complain too much. I just wish it were sturdier and the sound quality better. -- Decent.

The product is good for the price, but the power of transmiter is low and has a lot of interference. The result is a low volume with a little noise. -- Good price but poor sound quality
