I inserted my iPod Classic into this case and was amazed at how sturdy it was and at the great fit. It fit easily into the case and the added hard screen protector really protects the iPod screen from the bumps and bruises it can be subjected to under normal everyday use. The beltclip that comes with it is sturdy and works well, though I would have moved it more toward the bottom of the case. It is too high on the case for me, but that is a matter of personal opinion. The case has cutouts for all of the connectors on the iPod, including the hold button. As far as style goes, this case just looks tough. Some people may say that they feel this case doesn't have a very nice presentation, but I believe the case's looks fit with the level of protection it provides. If you have a 160gb classic, this is a no brainer! The headphone and usb connector areas are completely accessible as well as the hold button. There is nothing covering the wheel, so there is no restriction of movement. The screen cover fits snug. I put a screen protector over it just to keep it clear. The swivel clip disconnects from the case and it can be removed completely if you do not like it. It has a good grip to it with all of the grooves and rubber material. I have several other cases, this is the best yet. Speck really came through with this one and at the price that I paid for it, it is tops! -- Best case for the classic!

After reading the many positive reviews, I purchased the Speck Toughskin for my 160 Classic. It's stylish (each of my 3 brothers ordered one after seeing mine) and more importantly to me it does exactly what it says: saves your Ipod.

I ordered this a day after receiving my new 160-Ipod. Two days after receiving it, I had exited my car at the supermarket, got distracted and my Ipod slips out of my hand and smack!! hits concrete. I'm staring down at it with the utter certainty it's died a sudden death.
